Eco Advent Vampire Devices

Vampire devices are electrical devices that draw power due to a standby mode, even when the device is switched off. Switching them off at the wall (or putting them on a timer) can save hundreds of pounds per year in energy bills.

The Gävle goat is a huge straw goat put up at Christmas time each year in the village of Gävle, Sweden. Most years it is burnt down and it is documented each year how long it lasts before this happens. It makes the BBC news in the years that it does not get burnt!
