St Stephen's Church

St Stephen’s church is situated in St Peter Port next to a main road. It is surrounded by roads and houses. They have taken a managed approach to their summer colour and created flower beds. The front of the church has a few bits of colour but around the back there are much more colourful beds. There is a very wild patch next to the lane, deliberate or accidental, I don’t know. Inside the church there are a series of windows designed by William Morris which had recently been restored but unlike his interior design, these don’t contain flowers!
